New term, first actions

Just 2 weeks after our term has started once again everything become faster in my life... sometimes it is even hard to find few minutes for yourself to reflect on things which are happening.

These first two weeks weren't easy for me personally, I have to admit that. From one side something new was just starting, but from other really important year of my life was just finishing. Many emotions, thoughts, connected with my past and future were coming to my minds. I am happy that slowly I am coming back on track. Especially that these first weeks give me a lot of confidence that upcoming year will bring unforgettable memories to all of us as and for sure it will be powerful experience. It is great to see how all of us are committed to own role and results which we are responsible for… first frustrations, irritations, happiness and joy from being where we are!

My day of the month is for sure birthday of Ania Szymkiewicz, when we have decided to run the Ania’s Day! There were few simple rules which each of us in the house agreed to follow during the whole day of her birthday, i.e. always when some us was doing something to eat or drink supposed to think first about Ania. When in the evening we gave her gift and the cake I didn’t expect that she would say that thanks to us she feels here like at HOME! Which is unbelievable! Believe me it is not easy to feel like that living with 12 people, hundreds guests every week and lot of mess around, and of course with the “shitter” (szambo) on the yard!

So I am looking forward for the next birthday and next “Name Day”! Just remember my are on 19th of July! I am also open for new experiences :P

BUDAPEST (May 11, 2008) — European business leaders gathered in Budapest this weekend to celebrate AIESEC’s diamond anniversary—founded by members from seven European countries now 60 years ago.

The weekend meeting was a culmination of reminiscing, celebration and reconnecting to the valuable network that AIESEC provides its members and alumni.

AIESEC co-founder, Jean Choplin added to the nostalgic atmosphere of the evening by sharing a bit about his dream of establishing such an organization a reality. From seven European countries to now 100 across five continents, AIESEC has grown quite significantly since the dream came into conception in 1948.
